This is an informal walk-through on a home for purchase with a client and master inspector. This is done during an open house or private showing. The idea behind this pre-offer consult is to allow the home buyer the opportunity to understand any major issues with the property prior to making an offer. This by no means takes the place of a whole-house home inspection as it is offered to allow buyers to understand the condition of the high-cost systems such as roof estimated age, heating and air conditioning, foundation and structure, basement and attic and electrical providing available). This is a 30 min maximum verbal consult with no written report. This does not include testing outlets, running water, opening windows, etc. - all things important to a full home inspection. This offering was developed to all buyers in a difficult sellers' market to put in the best offer possible knowing the bigger possible concerns/conditions of the property. Call for more details. (Note: Private showing is preferred as often during an open house the inspectors are not allowed in the attic and are not allowed to open electric panels).
